Josh Taylor is a guitarist, teacher, and songwriter from Huntsville Alabama.
After graduating from Belmont University’s School of Music in 2022, Josh Taylor wasted no time trying to make his mark on Huntsville. Josh has become a sought-after performer and educator in North Alabama having played shows and festivals ranging from sold-out appearances at Tangled String Studios to opening for Single Lock Records’ Caleb Elliott to appearances at two of Huntsville’s foremost art festivals Panoply and Porchfest. As a guitarist, Josh performs in the Kentucky Thumbpicking tradition of artists such as Merle Travis, Chet Atkins, and Tommy Emmanuel.

The Four Walls EP Out Now
These five original tunes are a culmination of Taylor’s compositional portfolio thus far. Drawing on influences ranging from Chet Atkins to Tommy Emmanuel, this collection of tunes came together over the course of four years and is a capstone to Taylor’s time as a collegiate music student.
